Do you believe in what you do?

Do you believe wholeheartedly in the product or service you provide?

Do you know that what you offer will help people grow, change, shift, heal, succeed? That it will help them solve their problem and get what they want?

Do you wish you had more people you could support through the work you do, because you believe in what you provide so deeply?

I know your answers are yes, or you wouldn’t be here with me.

I don’t tend to attract women that aren’t ambitious and highly purpose driven! ;-)

  • So… why aren’t you picking up the phone and making sales?
  • Why aren’t you opening messenger to invite people into a conversation with you?
  • Why are you just sending follow-up email after follow-up email (if any follow-up at all)?
  • Why aren’t you talking to the investors or doing the marketing videos?

If you believe wholeheartedly in what it is that you do, then I need to hit you with a hard truth today… not showing up and being visible, not putting yourself and your work out there, not picking up the phone to have sales conversations or follow-ups, that’s you doing a HUGE disservice to the world.

Period. Full stop.

I know you think you’re being polite by “not bothering people.”

I know you believe you’re “giving people the space to make a decision.”

You might even feel like “sales is yucky” deep down inside.

But not putting yourself and your work in front of the people who need it is a disservice.

To yourself, your right clients and customers, and the world.

We’re going to stop that today, okay?

  • Who can you pick up the phone and call… in the next 30min?
  • What is one way you can put yourself and your work out there… in the next hour?
  • Who is someone you can follow-up with or ask to share your work… today?

Have those answers?

Great.

You have your action plan for the day… rock it out.

In order to have a business (not just a hobby, a wish, a creative pursuit, or a blog), you have to make money.

In order to have a business that supports you living the life you desire (whether that’s buying the dream home, taking the ‘round the world trip, flying first class, upgrading your wardrobe, or sending your kids to college) you have to be making REALLY GREAT money.

And you know what else? In order to have the impact you desire… to really, truly serve the people you’re here to serve… you have to have the means to do so.

  • To get your work in front of the right people…
  • To deliver your product or service at a high level that truly supports your clients and customers…
  • To invest in what you need… whether that’s team, experts, software, or marketing…
  • To hire support in your business and life so that you’re not running yourself into the ground…

You HAVE to make money, and lots of it.

But how do you make money move? How does it actually come to you?

The answer is simple…

Sales.

Sales is the cause, money is the effect.

If you’re not making sales, you’re not making money.

If you’re not making a lot of sales, you’re not making a lot of money.

And, if you’re not making bigger and bigger sales, you’re likely not making a lot of money while also not creating the kind of FREEDOM you desire in your life and business.

I know that you’re heart-centered and you care about making an impact.

Learning and mastering sales is a necessary aspect of doing just that. It’s truly essential.

Watch this short video on how learning sales changed my life!

It’s time to learn how to make money move… it’s time to master sales.

This Is An Epidemic I’m Committed To Stopping!

Smallness is an epidemic among so many women.

Beautiful, brilliant, powerhouse women who aren’t showing up fully or living out their full potential in this life… and who aren’t doing their work at the scale they want to be.

Smallness stems from many things…

  • Fear and insecurity about failing, or even about being successful.
  • Being overwhelmed, burning out, and grinding because you don’t think it can be easy.
  • The belief that you can’t invest in yourself in the ways you need or desire. (Huge self-worth stuff here.)
  • Convincing yourself that things are ‘good’ and that’s enough (rather than going for great).
  • Feeling ungrateful for wanting more, like you ‘should just be happy with what you have’.

When you’re stuck in the smallness, you’re never truly free.

You’re always tethered by your finances, your dependence on someone or something else, your fear of going bigger, and your belief that you can’t (or shouldn’t) have more.

The antithesis of smallness is being unstoppable.

It’s living a truly uncompromised life where you have, do, and become all the things you desire.

Where you don’t apologize for what you want, who you are, or how you show up.

More importantly, you show up. You use your voice. Do your work. Have your impact.

You claim your worth and your bank account reflects that.

You’re deeply supported because you demand nothing less from your personal and professional relationships, from your team, and, you hire experts to help you move forward in your life, business, health, and around your goals.

You move through your subconscious programming… your fears, blocks, beliefs, and the stories you tell yourself that keep you small… more quickly, and with a lot more ease. You ‘run the stairs’ as I like to call it… leveling up again and again… simply because you WANT to.

How is smallness showing up for you right now?

Remember, with our subconscious programming it can show up in a lot of different ways. It can be as obvious as, “I hold myself back from greater visibility because of fear.” Or it’s more subtle and reasonable… such as, “I’m always confused and overwhelmed, chaos constantly keeps me from taking the move-the-needle actions in my business.”

Ending smallness is a big part of The Unstoppable Woman movement I’m working to create… because the world needs more brilliant, powerhouse women FULLY showing up.

That includes YOU.

How will you choose to be more unstoppable today?

A definite purpose. This is one of the things that in the past hung me up. I couldn’t wrap my head around it. ‘Purpose’ felt so big. Did I even have one???

I was so caught up in just getting by, figuring out the next thing, checking the next ‘to do’ off the list… that I had no idea, much less time to think about purpose.

When someone would bring up purpose, when they’d ask “what is your ‘why’?” I would think…

Purpose??? Don’t talk to me about purpose. That’s so high highfalutin. I don’t have a purpose. Blah, blah, blah. Fingers in my ears.

Yet, it was there all along. (It is for everyone too.) Mine was buried deep under my need to be safe, which looked like being the good girl, reliable, liked, upstanding, all of that.

Watch this short video I made on definite purpose…

What shifted things for me was taking the whole purpose thing on faith. I stopped arguing with the concept. Isn’t that a clever strategy? I stopped arguing and started experimenting with it. ;-)

Then I learned that desire always leads the way. I took this on faith too, while I tested it out. (Always the scientist.) I found that my true desires, even if they were small and seemingly insignificant, always took me in the right direction.

So then my next step was to claim a bigger desire. If I couldn’t see my big purpose, why I was here, I could at least claim my first level desire. What was the big a– goal that I wanted to achieve right now?

That’s what became my definite purpose.

It may not have been my big why in life, but it was clear. It was definite. I wasn’t changing it all the time. (That’s an important point.)

And you know what happened?

I made a quantum leap in my life and business. Everything changed for the better.

Every time I go to the next level, I’m challenged with this concept. What is my definite purpose now? How big do I go? Where should my focus be? Short term or long term?

The same pattern of confusion comes in… it all feels so grandiose…

But I’m here to change the world. And so are you.

So claim it my friends. <3

Claim that first level desire, that first level goal at least. Start there and make it your definite purpose… and hit reply to share with me what it is.

Make it real and let me hold you accountable.

If You Haven’t Done What You Want To Do Yet, It Might Be Because Of This.

Actions matter. And if you take enough of the right actions (which depend entirely on the goal you’re working towards), you can have anything you want in life.

But if you’re only focused on the ‘outer game’ aspect of taking action (making the calls, writing the email, finding the new hire, putting the proposal together, etc) and you’re not looking at the ‘inner game’ elements that are at play (the stories you tell yourself, your beliefs and fears, etc), you may often find yourself stopping short of your goal… or not getting started at all.

Coming up with the action plan can be easy. (I help my clients do this all the time!) Although it may not always feel like the easy part, it actually is.

Let me explain…

If you want something, you ask yourself what needs to happen to move you towards it, and in what order… and then you go and do those things. You move the needle forward.

Yet, if you haven’t done what want to do yet, you don’t always know what that needle moving action is. You come up with all sorts of other actions that look good but aren’t ‘the thing’… and you talk yourself into it.

This is what your subconscious mind does. It distracts you with easier actions that don’t move you forward.

Plus, on top of that… as if that wasn’t enough… when you go to take the right actions your subconscious makes them feel so hard, so impossible, so overwhelming…

Why?

Because your subconscious mind wants to keep you exactly where you are right now. It doesn’t want you to change. It thinks no change = safety. (Which isn’t true by the way!)

It sabotages your ability to start and/or finish those simple and straightforward actions.

This looks like…

  • Not getting help.
  • Procrastinating on doing the work (even if it’s productive) or making decisions.
  • Being “too busy” to dedicate time to planning or moving through your blocks.
  • Endless research or getting ready to get ready.
  • Taking another certification course. (You don’t need that credential to get started!)
  • Getting sick, feeling worn out and tired.
  • And so many more ways that you “legitimately” stop yourself…

So watch for this. This is your subconscious programming leading you to self-sabotage your best intentions.

How do you stop yourself? Do you know how to tell?

It’s the excuse you’re using for not achieving what you want out of life and in your business.

What’s your flavor of ‘not-enoughness’?

We all have one… for me it was always about being smart enough. Getting the grade, the pat on the shoulder, the award. Proving my worth based on what I knew or did well.

Maybe yours is just the classic not good enough. Or maybe it’s not pretty enough… not capable or talented enough… whatever it is, it boils down to this belief that you’re falling short of who you ‘need to be’ to gain love, safety, and security, as well as to truly achieve success.

As you take the steps to claim your goals for this year (personally, professionally, or financially), you’ll see every failure or misstep as a reinforcement of your ‘not ____ enough’ belief.

  • When the marketing campaign doesn’t convert.
  • When the talk or presentation doesn’t get the reviews you hoped for.
  • When the proposal you worked so hard on gets rejected.
  • When you step on the scale after a week of dieting and it hasn’t budged.

All of these things will reinforce the story you’re telling about your ‘not enoughness’… but really, the story you’re telling yourself is at the root of these things happening.

This is your subconscious programming at play.

The way we perceive the world around us is a direct reflection of what we believe to be true about it.

If you believe the Universe is out to get you, you’ll see example after example of this throughout your day, because that’s what you’re looking for. So if you don’t believe you’re good enough in one way or another, what you’re putting out into the world reflects this, and influence what you receive in return. You have to identify and interrupt this cycle.

I want you to give something a try this week:

  1. Identify your own flavor of ‘not enoughness’. How does it show up for you?
  2. Start paying attention to how it shows up for you throughout the day today. How many times do you associate things happening to be a direct result of your ‘not enoughness’? What is the story you tell yourself when these things happen?
  3. Create an alternate story. If you were already enough, what might be different? How might you have shown up differently, and what outcome might you have created?
