Let me guess, you’re someone with big dreams and LOTS OF IDEAS. :)

Yet, you wrestle with yourself… maybe even every morning… about what to focus on and do first.

  • You remind yourself that you have so much to do.
  • You tell yourself you have to get up and get a move on.
  • You berate yourself about wasting more time.
  • You call yourself lazy.

Ouch!!

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. And if it doesn’t, chances are you tell yourself some other variation of things that center around not being good enough.

But, hmmm… what if you’re not lazy or not ____ enough?

What if you just have competing desires and don’t clearly choose, so then you never feel like you’re accomplishing anything, feel guilty, and call yourself lazy?

What if that was a big fat lie?

What if there was a way to step out of this very common pattern?

(There is!)

It’s simple: CHOOSE.

DECIDE what will move the needle around what you desire in your business and FOCUS on taking those actions first and foremost. Don’t worry about the rest. There really is time enough for it all… but only if you start now, with one.

When you choose, decide, and then focus on that, you know exactly what you need to get up out of bed to do every morning… and when you start to see the PROGRESS, you feel excited.

You’re no longer busy beating yourself up and calling yourself lazy (or “not ____ enough”).

You’re in action. Making things happen. Moving the needle. Reaching your goals.

But it begins with making that choice.

Where are you struggling with competing desires?

And what will you DECIDE to CHOOSE and FOCUS on today?

People Love To Rationalize This, Don’t They?

By Amira Alvarez People love to rationalize that making money isn't important. They explain it away, saying I don’t really need that much, what’s really important is service and impact. People love to rationalize that making money isn’t important.

They explain it away, saying I don’t really need that much, what’s really important is service and impact. They’ve got their expenses covered and a little left over for fun, they don’t need to be “greedy” and go for more.

That’s one way to look at it.

The rest of us are looking for GROWTH, for financial freedom, for the ability to be unlimited by anything in this life, to live to our fullest, and have an extraordinary life… to have the AND/MORE experience.

Doesn’t that sound delicious? Impact AND financial freedom?

See… Wondering if you afford to hire that person or buy those shoes, always constraining yourself, it doesn’t feel unlimited. It doesn’t feel extraordinary.

It feels constrained. Compromised. Small.

You can rationalize it away, but…

It keeps you from making your impact in the world. (Eg: You’ve got a big message, but you don’t have the means to get it out there? THAT!)

Personally, I want to always be growing. I want to always be doing my work in this world. I always want to be making my impact.

But I know that it requires money.

I’m a dreamer, but a do-er too.

I’m fully focused on service and impact, completely showing up 100% to do my work in the world… serve in the way I was meant to serve… AND, making a kickass income in the process.

Charging what you’re worth, owning your value, and being paid WELL for what you do is critical to you making the greatest impact you can in this lifetime

Do you want to get to the place where the question is NEVER, “can I afford this and should I spend the money?”

But instead it’s, “do I want this and when do I want it?”

Let me ask you this, how often do you make yourself choose between the things you desire? How often do you allow yourself to believe that it’s either/or, rather than both, and? How frequently are you letting yourself settle for good enough rather than truly going for more and having it all… whatever “having it all” means for YOU and YOUR life?

When I coach my private clients, this is a constant thread in our work.

I’m constantly having to help them open their minds to the REALITY that they can have AS MUCH AS THEY DESIRE, if they’re willing to do the work to get out of their own way.

What is that work?

  • CLARITY… knowing exactly what they want and claiming it fully.
  • FOCUS… putting their time, energy, attention, and money into the actions, projects, and areas that will allow them to move the needle more quickly.
  • MINDSET… bringing awareness to the thoughts, beliefs, habits, patterns, and stories that are keeping them small, and doing the work to get leverage over their subconscious programming so that they’re no longer self-sabotaging or buying into the lie that it’s either/or.

It’s a choice to stay small.

It’s a choice to live life through the lens of either/or.

What will you choose and how will you start showing up differently?

The Most Fatal Thing For Your Business

Lack of CLARITY can be fatal for your business.

Worse, it can lead to burnout and anxiety, which will also derail you from your dreams.

The biggest bummer about all this? It’s unnecessary.

There’s no reason for you to be operating in your business without clarity.

Yet, that’s the biggest place I see women business owners stopping themselves.

They don’t realize it though, because it often looks like…

  • Getting ready to get ready, endlessly.
  • Doing more research on what the ‘right’ next step is.
  • Stressing out about money and cash flow.
  • Feeling confused about what next step to take.
  • Asking for everyone’s opinion rather than trusting yourself.

So what’s the solution?

FOCUS.

Focus, focus, focus.

Did I say focus? ;-)

Focus allows you to avoid getting spun out by the noise in your head (the stress, fears, stories, and beliefs), as well as the external circumstances that like to crop up and give our subconscious mind something to distract us with (unexpected bills, our computer breaking, missing our flight, etc).

Focus gives us an anchor. A space to place our attention so that we KNOW we’re moving forward towards our goals no matter what’s going on inside or outside of us.

But you have to know WHAT to focus on for this to work, which requires clarity.

How do you get clarity?

Ask yourself what you want.

  • What is your big vision or juicy goal?
  • What is the number one thing that will move you towards it?
  • Making more sales? Being more visible on social media? Creating more content?

(Hint: sales should always be at the top of that list if you’re interested in increasing your income.)

Choose the thing that will move the needle and FOCUS on that.

Ready? Great, rock it out!

Not sure? Let’s chat.

Either way, take steps forward TODAY.

You can do this.

A Look At My Evolution (It’s Pretty Wild!!)

Just last week I reopened access to my flagship program, which I haven’t offered in some time. Because it was a relatively last-minute decision (and since I practice what I preach and take FAST action on Spirit-led guidance), I had to use the old sales page.

The BEST part about this old sales page?

THE PHOTOS!! OMG!!

They’re great photos. Professionally shot… a variety of great poses… all in my brand colors… but when I look at those images I can’t help but wonder, who is that woman?!

Then yesterday my marketing person and I logged into the membership dashboard to review some program content… and she immediately exclaimed, “it’s like a snapshot of your evolution!”

Wild! :-)

Each photo is an authentic representation of who I was at the time… and yet, I hardly recognize myself in some of those older photos.

Why? Because I’ve evolved.

Evolution is a necessary and essential part of life, especially with business.

If you’re not growing, you’re dying. That’s a Universal truth.

But you can’t continually grow if you’re not tuned into Spirit and able to open and receive guidance. You can’t evolve if you’re not willing to sacrifice old, outdated, lower vibration aspects of yourself, your work, your relationships, and your life in order to call in something greater. Something more aligned with who you’re becoming as you expand.

I’ve grown immensely in just the last couple of years alone.

I’ve grown my business, team, revenue, and client base tremendously. I’ve expanded my reach and impact as I begin to get on stages and get my message in front of more people. I’ve upleveled my relationships, lifestyle, home, health, and wardrobe.

All because I stay open and receptive to those Spirit-led nudges.

And more so because I take action on that guidance quickly.

Even if it means blasting out an old sales pages with photos of myself I don’t even recognize. ;-)

I’m the same person BUT I’ve evolved.

So today I want you to ask yourself, how deeply do you desire to grow and evolve, and in what ways specifically? Then take a moment to tune in and open so that you can receive guidance around what’s next in order to make that happen.

Most importantly… act QUICKLY.

Right when you receive it, however you can. Don’t put it off.

Keep taking clear, focused, Spirit-led actions so that you can keep evolving too.

What would become possible in your life and business if you had a clear plan?

If you knew exactly what next steps to take?

What could you be capable of if you had the accountability and structure built into that plan to ensure that you keep yourself honest and hold yourself to a higher standard?

SO MUCH, right?

Sometimes my clients get a little… put off… by the statement ‘hold yourself to a higher standard’. But it’s not about shame or guilt. It’s about stepping into your FULL POTENTIAL and living out your More Life directive… your purpose in this life.

You can’t do that if you’re not able to get honest about what’s working and what’s not.

You can’t do that if you’re not clear on where to start or how to close the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

And you certainly can’t do that if you keep stopping yourself at every turn.

There are three essential steps to creating a TRUE quantum leap in your income.

First, you MUST master sales. Sales is the mechanism that makes money move… and without GOOD money, you can’t live out your More Life directive. You need the means to do so… and those means become more and more accessible the more quickly you master sales.

Second, you have to master your inner game, your mindset. Without the right mindset no amount of sales training will work. If you don’t master your mindset, you’ll continue stopping yourself even though you have this process. This is the foundation for your quantum leap!

Third, you have to set yourself up for success by making it inevitable. Creating a quantum leap and accelerating your income requires more than magical thinking. You need to have a clear process and step-by-step plan of action to be effective with sales! And you need to know how to hold yourself accountable and put the right structures into place.

I hope you commit and create the time for this… your quantum leap depends on it.

Focus On THIS To Keep From Plateauing

When it comes to creating a quantum leap in your income, I talk a lot about the Law of Cause and Effect, especially when working with my private clients.

The Universal Law of Cause and Effect states that for every effect there is a definite cause… likewise for every cause, there is a definite effect. That means your thoughts, behaviors, and actions create specific effects that manifest and create your life as you know it.

So often, we only focus on the outer game actions… and don’t get me wrong, actions are important. Especially honing in on and taking the RIGHT actions consistently!

But the Law of Cause and Effect isn’t just about those outer game actions, it’s also about the INNER GAME actions.

You are ‘First Cause’ on the physical plane.

What you do or don’t do (and how you do or don’t do it) determines your results. But actions always have roots in our thoughts… which means, the thoughts and beliefs that drive your behaviors and actions are a cause.

One place that women often get stopped is around sales and marketing… because it’s asking for money and putting yourself out there. Egads! Send me back to my hidey-hole, please!

This can happen at every level, whether you’re just starting out or have been at it for years. If you’re plateauing… if you’re not calling in the money that you desire… you’ve got to look at where you are causing this. I give three examples in this short video of how this can show up. It’s nuanced, so listen up! :)

So I want you to get honest with yourself today… what do you believe to be true about sales?

What is the story you tell yourself that leads you to not showing up as fully as you can be with sales and marketing? That keeps you stuck in smallness, avoiding visibility and not taking a stand for the value of the solutions that you provide people?

How you answer these questions matters. Because while it’s incredibly important to understand the sales conversation process and to master it, if you’re not managing your mindset (which is at the root of all causes you put into effect), you will constantly stop and sabotage yourself.

Start by answering the above questions and identifying the thoughts and beliefs that have been driving your actions (or inaction) around sales.
