Ever wonder why not having enough time, never ending todo lists, and doing “all the things” all the time feels… so oppressive?

I wish that I had this information years ago, it would have helped me with my ability to receive both in my business in terms of revenue, ideal clients, opportunities, and more… and in my personal life. And yep, that means in my sex life as well. Read on to see how this is all connected.

In the book, Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill speaks about the sexual nature of men. He talks about having a highly sexed nature being a key aspect to all successful men.

Meaning that they are tapped into their desire to have sex.

Did you know that you can take this drive– this physical, biological drive– and channel it, transmute it, and use that same energy for building your business, calling in more money, achieving any goal that you have, financial or otherwise? Enticing right?

It is POWERFUL energy because quite frankly sexual energy is creative life force energy.

It’s the energy required to make babies and create life.

Now what happens if you can take that energy and put it towards something else? If successful men have this high sex drive, and they can transmute it and use it to create huge amounts of success, where does that leave women?

What I find with many women, who are ambitious, driven, high-achievers, is that for a variety of different reasons, they suppress much of their feminine essence (and honestly sexual energy) in favor of their masculine essence.

Now, why might that be? Well, quite frankly, when building a business, leading a team, managing multiple initiatives, you have to do a lot of very structured, focused doing and the masculine essence drives that kind of action… It’s hunting, pursuing, very directive. It’s about making impressions, it’s about going out, being outwardly driven.

You can think of this in terms of how the male and the female genitalia physically look. The male genitalia is outward driven, very directive, when it’s alert, you can really see that. ;-)

The female genitalia is a receiving shape and to receive you must open. You can really see the difference in our physiology.

So the feminine essence is really about receiving, it’s about nurturing like the womb, being open, like you need to do during sex.

It’s about magnetizing and attracting. It’s a different kind of energy.

Now there is no better or worse, good or bad, between the two. You need both. As I mentioned, to create (or make babies), you need a masculine and a feminine, you can’t have one without the other, you won’t be able to create.

What this looks like in business is giving yourself time for cogitation, thinking, and nurturing your ideas. It’s about opening to what is possible and what you desire to receive. It’s about allowing it in. This is the feminine essence.

The reason so many women are in a power struggle with time is because we stay in the masculine energy and neglect the feminine. It suppresses our ability and desire to receive.

We think going hard is the secret sauce for success, but in reality it’s in our ability to openly receive. To lean into and nurture our ideas, allow the incubation period to be fully formed. Then, and only then, is it time to tap into the masculine essence, putting it all together and getting it out in the world. You need both.

As the New Year approaches… explore your feminine essence further. Allow yourself to be open and ready to receive. Tap into this and you’ll begin to more easily transmute your vision and desires in results. You will be amazed at how liberated you feel and the results you experience.

Leaning into disappointment

As entrepreneurs, visionaries, possibility makers, we often live in the future.  Ideas and projects pulling us forward to the next opportunity, next sale, next… next.

So what happens when we slow down and stop long enough to look around?

When we look around and see that everything in this present moment isn’t exactly as we had envisioned?

Team members are not as skilled, available, committed as we had planned.
Clients are not as happy, successful, accountable as we had expected.
Launches are not as profitable as we had projected.
Leads are not flowing as we had counted on.
Relationships are not as stable as we thought they were.
Revenue is not as abundant as we had forecasted it would be.

In the midst of the visioning, in the euphoria of the delivering, something shifted.

Was it us?
Was it them?
Will it shift back? Forward?

All of a sudden there is an emotion.  One that we don’t often have the luxury of leaning into: disappointment.

I’m a problem solver, with a full belief everything is fixable… and that everything is working for us.

Yet, when these moments hit I have learned over time the art of to leaning in.

What is disappointment trying to teach me?
Where do I need to own the outcome in a different way, in a more intimate way?
What do I need to release? (Hello Law of Sacrifice!)
What do I need to open to and receive?

As driven, successful business owners it is easy to start looking for what went wrong… making ourselves wrong, making others wrong, making the numbers wrong.

It is easy to abdicate the responsibility and look for who to blame, who to pin it on.

But the truth is: disappointment is an educator not a punisher.

When we lean into disappointment we have an opportunity to learn. If we take it as a calling forward, if we lean into it and claim the more it has to offer us… we always win.

I love this quote from Martin Luther King, Jr.:

There can be no deep disappointment where there is not deep love.

It is love that is the originator of disappointment. It is why we care so deeply. And it is love that will see you through its season.

See when we lean in, we realize that what we have loved has not reached its full expression yet. Upon that realization there are decisions to be made.

What wants to be seen, heard or understood?
What belief did we hang on to that was not a truth?
What expectation did we attach to but not commit to the outcome of?

I want to make it clear we are meant to lean in, but not ‘linger on’ in disappointment.  Once the reflection has done its masterful work on our mindsets (and hearts!) it is then time for the pivot.

The pivot will open new doors, create new opportunities, and birth new visions. It requires not only a change in perspective, expectation, and often relationships or environments, but also TRUST.

You must step forward and TRUST in the unknown.

Often people experience disappointment and they quit. They retreat. They make themselves wrong and they lose the confidence they need to press forward.

But not you.
Not UNSTOPPABLE you.

You and I, we were not built to quit. We were created to thrive. To conquer. To eliminate the obstacles.

So lean in… but don’t linger on disappointment. Use it to expand rather than retreat. Trust in the gift it has to offer you.

And trust your deep and abiding love to lead you forward to the new vision and opportunities.

Did you hit your goals for 2022?

Often December can be a stressful month trying to juggle it all and hit your goals.

I remember the year I decided to hit 7 figures “come hell or high water”. I was $10k from my goal on Dec 31st and determined… calling everyone trying to hit that number. It was my goal. It was my vision. I was committed to being unstoppable.

But driving to my boyfriend’s house for New Year’s Eve, around 10 pm at night, I thought I hadn’t made it and was still $1k short. Errrrr! I had tried so hard. (It didn’t make for a particularly celebratory mood that night… but. (later in January going over numbers with my accountant I found out I had actually crossed over the 7-Figure mark. Whoo hoo! You betcha that I did celebrate then.)

So what makes YOU unstoppable? Do you have the beliefs required to move past what blocks you from achieving your goals?

Sure I would have liked to have sailed past my goal earlier in the year, but that year I did what I needed to in order to break through and prove to myself that I was who I thought I believed I was.

Belief and action are both required in order to uplevel your outcomes.

I have an exercise for you that will help you with the belief side.

Go ahead and grab a pen and paper… I like sticky notes that you can keep on your desk so it stays front of mind.

Write out the big audacious goal you have at the top of the paper (no wimpy goals ladies… only the ones that require you to be unstoppable.)

Directly under it draw a line down the center.

On the left side -> Write out the ways you are stopped.
On the right side -> Write out the belief you have as to why it stops you. Here is an example from one of my team members:

(Big Audacious Goal)
Generate 7 Figures + Working 4 Days a Week

Write out the exact same things on the Stops Me side but reprogram the Belief:

You decide what you want to believe is true. You decide what stops you (or what you will never allow to stop you again.)

You decide to be the UNSTOPPABLE YOU.

With THAT belief, go take the action that syncs up with your new beliefs and create the outcomes you truly desire!

Intimacy is more than sex.
Intimacy is a safe place to be transparent, vulnerable and seen.

Let me connect the dots for you on this and what it means to me (and business)…

Years ago when I started my business, I would have said that the impact I wanted to make was teaching women how to make more money.

I still love doing this. Without the knowledge of how to make money, in this society, we can feel totally trapped, which is definitely antithetical to being Unstoppable.)

Now however, my answer to this question has evolved.

The impact I want to make now goes beyond the money.

Now it is to create the ability for smart, driven, powerful woman to stand in their authority, unapologetically, embracing intimacy in every relationship they have (from partner to their mom to their bestie), the confidence to be seen and received in the fullness of who they are and what they desire.

In a sense, this is freedom. This is wholeness.

Playing small, settling, tolerating, compromising, people pleasing, all play a part in creating an invisible ceiling in our lives that keeps us from reaching our goals, making the money we want to make AND experiencing deep, ecstatic intimacy.

I’ll come back to that in a moment :)

When I started my business I was focused on the idea  that money equals freedom. The reality is quite different.  (You can make a lot of money and still feel trapped… in debt, in unhappy relationships, in guilt… you get it.)

Intimacy with myself, with others, with God/Source/Spirit… this is where real freedom comes from.

Not having to hide, shrink or dilute my desires on any level. This is freedom.

No settling. No hiding. No small life.

To some degree, money does make reaching my desires and not settling easier. But truly, it’s who I had to become to make that money, the internal growth that had to happen, that was the game changer.

I’m curious…

Do you shy away from true intimacy?

Where are you not safe to be transparent?
Where are you not safe to be vulnerable?
Where are you not safe to be seen?

When we have to hide, on any level, we lose our power, strength and confidence.

Let me say it like this…

You want to make 7 figures in your business, is that big enough? Nah…

Let’s go with this:  you want to bring home 7 figures from your business, profit!

Who do you share this with that will believe in you, see the possibilities with you, partner emotionally with your vision and may even be willing to put some skin in the game?

Can you even believe it for yourself?

Or did you immediately shut down the thought of this being a reality?

Will you allow yourself to even desire it? Or does the playing small, hiding, settling happen inside YOU, before it ever makes it out to those around you?

How intimate are you willing to be with yourself for your own desires?

Who can you share this with that will champion the desire with you? A partner? Can they see it to the point of supporting you with an investment, with long hours, with nights out networking, or will they only ‘dream a little dream’ with you but not really intimately join you in the journey?

Can you see the true freedom found in intimacy?

Have you put a ceiling on yourself? Are you allowing someone else to place a ceiling on you? A ceiling of being transparent, vulnerable and truly seen for who you are and what you desire?

Now when my desire for intimacy with myself, God or others starts to diminish it is an indicator (like the needle on the gas tank) telling me something is wrong.

I’ve gone into smallness, scarcity, lack, ‘not enoughness.’

I see the needle dropping long before I see the outcome… an alarm happens in my soul and I know something has to change immediately.

This is what I want for you. An uncompromised commitment to yourself, which requires intimacy,  deep connection and complete surrender to all of who you are.

Do you believe in luck? This is a sneaky way you might be giving your power away. Nobody justgets lucky.

But when we start feeling a little jealous of people around us who have reached a certain level of success, this is a classic story we tell ourselves.

We say things like…

She’s always been lucky…”
Not everyone can be ~perfect~ like [insert name]…”
Easy for him, he hasn’t been facing the issues I’ve been struggling with lately…”

It’s so easy to fall into this type of thinking… so you have to be careful here.

Why?

Because although these rationalizations will sound totally reasonable and logical, they’re actually just ways you’re letting yourself off the hook from stepping up in your life.

Yep, it’s trueWhen you do this, you’re giving away your power. You’re allowing yourself to be a victim of circumstance.

Because if success is just based on luck, then small business owners have no control over their eventual success. And “being unlucky” quickly becomes an excuse for failure, or choosing never to start in the first place.

This all ties back into the Law of Cause and Effect. If you’re not creating the results you want in your business, you have to ask yourself HOW you’re showing up in this world.

You have to look at what causes you are putting into effect. You have to take a deep, hard, honest look at what’s holding you back from truly claiming… and taking action on… what you desire in your life, business, relationships, and income.

This is the only way you’ll be able to create the results you want, consistently. And it’s the only way you’ll become truly unstoppable – in business and in life.

Are you ready for that?

If you are… What’s one thing you can do today to claim the success you deserve?

So you want more. You have a growth mindset and big goals for yourself and your business in the coming months, and youre driven to achieve it all in 2022.

Emotionally and mentally, you’re all in.

But then you get distracted.

It starts with one ‘off’ day. Maybe you sit down to tackle your new task, then you think to yourself… I really should finish staining the deck while it isn’t raining.

Or you plan to spend a morning knocking out some big to-do’s for a new marketing initiative… only to check the clock and realize that morning’s over, and all you did is get lost in email.

Before you know it, it’s become a pattern.

It’s so easy to fall into the trap of doing what we know how to do – what we’re already successful at doing – instead of taking the new, needle-moving actions we know we need to focus on to grow and scale.

There’s a reason I can recite this pattern like the back of my hand. This used to be my go-to pattern. And I know this is extraordinarily common, because I hear about it from my clients all the time.

It’s called productive procrastination.

Why So Many People Fall for Productive Procrastination

Sure, it might sound a little better than plain old procrastination – the type where you’re laying on the couch mindlessly scrolling through your Facebook feed.

But here’s the rub: when you procrastinate in the “normal” way, you almost always realize it.

Productive procrastination, on the other hand… it’s sneaky. It is not a growth mindset you need as an entrepreneur.

If you’re not careful, you hardly ever realize when you’ve fallen into its trap.

That’s because on the surface, you’re getting a ton done! But in reality, you’re keeping busy while avoiding what really needs doing in your business.

What have you done this with in the past? Blog posts? Financial reports? Emailing your list?

Once you recognize what you’re doing, you can consciously choose to redirect your activity.

What’s one thing you can do today to steer clear of this sneaky trap—and focus on the needle-moving actions required to grow your business?
