The second step in the Manifestation Matrix, denial, plays a significant role in why many individuals struggle to manifest their desires. It’s important to recognize that denial is not something to be feared but an integral part of the manifestation process.

In fact, one common obstacle is actually denying the very existence of denial. 🙄

Many people choose to ignore, avoid, or sidestep it, leading to various delays in their manifestation journey.

The denial phase occurs when you declare your desire, but doubts and questions begin to emerge.

This happens to ALL OF US when we’re really going after something that stretches us, that’s BIG, that we haven’t YET been able to create in our lives.

It’s important to recognize how doubt sneaks into our thinking… even if you want to deny it.

Pay attention to when you have thoughts such as:

– Is it wrong to want that?
– How can I possibly make it happen?
– Is this truly what I desire?
– Is it responsible to pursue this?
– Am I being greedy or self-serving?
– Shouldn’t I be content with what I have?
– I’ll never attain that.
– I’m asking for too much.
– That’s not meant for me.
– And more…

These doubts can undermine your confidence and, if left unaddressed, trap you in the denial phase, leading to frustration and unmet desires.

Now let’s go deeper…

Doubts can manifest in two ways: they can be prominent, causing inner conflict and a noticeable misalignment between your thoughts and your emotions. Or, they can lurk beneath the surface, leaving you with a sense that something is off, even when you believe everything is fine.

This later tendency to “deny the denial” is a common pitfall.

In the realm of business, denying the denial may involve ignoring misgivings about organizational changes, initiatives, or personal presentation. In your personal life, it can mean disregarding uncertainties about how to achieve your aspirations, questioning your worthiness of a better life, or underestimating the time and effort required.

Continuing to ignore these misgivings prevents you from attaining the necessary vibrational frequency for your manifestations to become reality. Remember…to receive what you desire, you must align with its vibrational frequency.

So, how do you transition from the denial phase to a state of receptivity? Here are a few tips:

1. Acknowledge that denial is part of the process. It doesn’t need to be magnified with fear or anxiety, but it shouldn’t become an excuse to remain stuck. Work through it.

2. Calmly investigate the source of dissonance and doubt. Ask yourself where the dissonance is coming from, what its origin is, where you feel off, and what the storyline in your head is indicating. Keep asking questions and listening until you uncover the truth and understand where you’re not aligned.

3. Experiment with shifting your desires in both more general and more specific directions. Pay attention to how each adjustment makes you feel—whether it makes you feel open and expansive or tight and restricted. If it feels neutral, that might not be where you’re in denial. Keep exploring, asking questions, and making adjustments until you move beyond the denial phase and align with the vibrational frequency of your desires.

Remember, acknowledging and overcoming denial is an essential step on your path to successful manifestation of all that you desire and your exquisite life as both a woman and an empire builder.

Embrace the process, stay open to adjustments, and trust in your ability to progress from denial to the FULL manifestation of every one of your wishes fulfilled.

You can do this!

How I didn’t get my manifestation

Despite my mad manifestation skills sometimes I don’t get what I “want.”

I put “want” in quotes because often the thing you think you want is not really what you want. It’s not a true desire but a stand-in for it or even a distraction from what you really want.

Let’s call that a “should want.”

It’s something you think you should want but it really isn’t that important to you.

Yet often you only realize that later, after the fact, once you’ve had the lived experience and can triangulate the information.

Case in point, my recent experience with the builders of my house.

Here’s the story…

I love my house but I am moving to CA. The house is only 2 years old so it only takes some minor staging, a touch-up of paint, and a bit of landscaping to really make it shine.

In preparing the house for sale, my agent suggests going back to the builders to get them to pay for landscaping to help with some erosion that’s occurred in the backyard.

Unlike my desire to sell and move, I’m hesitant about this. I hem and haw for a bit but my real estate agent thought it was worth asking.

When framed that way, I was like… “Okay, it’s worth asking. It can’t hurt to ask.”

I wasn’t just deferring to him. I’m always open to input and this seemed like the logical thing to do. Plus, I figured the hesitation I felt was simply my conditioning to avoid conflict.

So even though I wasn’t in my full ‘yes,’ I made the conscious decision to go forward.

But then my agent took longer to get in touch with the builder and I got frustrated.

I was irritated.
I started going into resentment.

I focused my energy on “why aren’t you getting this done?!”and everything started to feel hard, like swimming upstream.

This was a sign to let it go… But I didn’t. (Owning that.)

I persisted.

I put more time and effort into it and ultimately sent an email to the builder.

I got a definitive response.

NO.

Along with all the legal reasons why the no was a no.

Ugh! I really don’t like not getting what I want.

I could feel the pull to go back in, fight harder for what I wanted, defend the rationale that we put forth, prove that we were right… BUT NO, this time I wasn’t going to go there.

This was conflict energy and this was not going to help me get what I wanted.

But here’s the rub…

Getting the builders to pay for this wasn’t what was really important to me.

Moving, and getting the amount that I wanted for my house, was important to me. That’s what I truly wanted!

Asking the builders to pay for something was a “should want,” not a true want.

It was never meant to manifest because manifestations happen for TRUE desires, not SHOULD desires.

They also come with ease and grace, not conflict energy.*

And these two concepts lead us to this… we never get “should wants”… at least not easily.

That’s not how manifestation works.

Now I’ve been at this for years…

I know this stuff…

Shouldn’t I have known better and acted differently?

Yes, yes, yes!

I point this out because instead of recrimination, I appreciated my ability to let go and course-correct. And this is key.

No making myself wrong, because the make-wrong never makes it right.

And with those two simple choices… letting go of the need to be right and choosing to appreciate that decision…

I got back on track to manifesting my exquisite life.

I hope this helps you manifest yours as well.

*This is not to say avoid conflict or avoid asking for what you want. There are many times when this is required, like when I sent Tony Robbins a Cease and Desist Letter and they immediately changed course. The key is don’t do it with conflict energy. Your ‘come from’ needs to be clean. More on that in another newsletter.

What does it mean to reinvent yourself?

Especially if you kind of like yourself… a lot…already?

Do you have to burn it all down and like the Phoenix, rise up again from the ashes?

Or is there another way to call forth the next iteration of you, your life, and your business?

To be honest, I’m constantly assessing and calling forth more. That’s what I live and breathe. Change is something I’m used to and crave. I’m certainly not afraid of change. You too?

But there are times when what needs to come forward feels bigger than the regular iteration of personal and business growth. It feels closer to a tectonic shift.

A shift that’s ready to rock you to your core. And you can FEEL it.

There are days, even months, when you try to look away and ignore it, and go on like business as usual.

Because quite frankly it feels like a lot to manage. It would be so much easier to pretend you didn’t feel the call.

But when the call is made, the call is made.

When your soul will no longer be ignored… there will be a rebirth. That’s for sure!

This is what I’ve been going through… for months… and months.

It’s been both frustrating and delightful.

The frustration has come because…

  • I’ve simply wanted to know the answer, even before I was truly prepared to receive it. Granted, patience has always been a challenge for me. But when it takes months upon months of leaning in… I was definitely tested. A lot of meditation helps
  • I’ve wanted to know the answer before I’ve walked the path. This is classic. Wanting to have certainty before taking action. There’s no such thing. You have to become more to have more. You must walk the path. F&*k!!!!
  • I wanted it to be easier BUT I was totally resisting. I was not listening to my Team. I was not listening to myself. And I was not listening to my SOUL. Ouch! But that’s the truth. Got to admit it. The “ego me” had her heels dug in resisting the call, denying the ease that was right there for me if I just said YES.

On the delightful front…

  • I’ve said YES. This feels so good. I’ve handed over the reins of implementation to my über competent Team, which of course includes my soul 😉, and stepped into open-hearted trust.  The adventure begins!
  • I picked the theme Phoenix Rising for the upcoming Spirit of Wealth retreat months ago… long before I recognized that I myself was in a full rebirth journey. 🤪 How beautiful and delightful is that? I love it when things just work out.
  • I’ve gone from frustrated to excited. Game on for the next level of manifestation.

But to go back to the beginning of this missive and answer the questions… What does it mean to reinvent yourself? Do you have to burn it all down and like the Phoenix, rise up again from the ashes?

What I’ve learned in this journey is that no… it doesn’t mean that you have to burn it ALL down. But YES there will be aspects of who you are and what you’re doing that you will need to let go of.

This is the Law of Sacrifice… you must let go of something of a lower nature to let in something of a higher nature.

Including, often, what you find near and dear, whether in business or in life.

The bigger the sacrifice the scarier it will be… until you LEAP!

I’ve lept. Will you?

Is there something that you feel needs to dramatically change in your life or business?

Are you primed for reinvention but the clarity hasn’t come into focus?

With a little more clarity, would you have the hutzpah to leap?

Yes?

Then join us at Phoenix Rising where I walk you through…

How to let go of what needs to be released…

How to become more of WHO you are to receive more of WHAT you want, and…

How to create an expanded version of an already great life and business.

It will be a surprise that won’t surprise you…. Because everything one steps into is actually the obvious next step.

The Secret to Getting What You Want

Have you ever written a manifestation list?

Where you just let it rip and write it all down?

It feels sooooo good… especially if you don’t censor or edit.

In fact, that defeats the purpose.

The whole idea is to fully express everything that you want without holding back.

You start and you don’t stop until you can’t think of anything else you want. Not one thing is left off your list.

The Manifestation List is the first step in actualizing your truth, your fully actualized exquisite life. Not the ‘almost amazing’ life. But the one that’s truly divine. The one that you know you were put here to live.

I did this again recently and I wrote out over 4 pages of desires!

The desires just kept coming.

Some of them were small, some of them large.
Some of them were material things, some of them feelings or experiences.
Some of them were desires that were only vaguely conscious previously, some of them completely unknown until they came onto the page and surprised me.

I’m not afraid of desire.

Whether I’m desiring something for my business or about love, relationships, the esoteric, etc…

I don’t get spun out thinking… I couldn’t possibly have that.

I don’t worry… What if it doesn’t happen? Will I be crushed by the disappointment?

I don’t think… I don’t see the way to that, it must not be here for me.

I don’t ask myself… Is it wrong to desire more?

And most of all…

I don’t say… I’m not worthy of it.

I just claim what I want.

I’ve been doing this for years, for both the business and the personal life.

And it works to create what you desire with so much ease and grace.

By no means is it the end of the manifestation process. There’s so much more to creating an exquisite life than just a list.

But this list?

It’s a powerful beginning.

After that there are many additional steps I take. More on that soon enough…

But for today… Will you do this first step? Will you join me in just letting your desires run free?

Are you willing to give this a shot?

Sit down, pen to paper, and simply start writing.

Don’t censor. Don’t edit. Don’t go down the brainstorming rabbit hole.

Simply write.

It’s an act of self-love.

If you meditate, you could start with that. Even just a couple of minutes to come back into connection with your true self and Source works. Take a few presenting breaths and reconnect to your body and this present moment.

Then start writing.

What do you want?

Remember: Desire is Causative. Let it lead the way.

Goals vs Desires: A key difference when it comes to manifestation

I was talking to a long-time private client this morning about what is next for her.

It was a question I posed to her last week for her to contemplate.

Things are good, even great for her yet she’s ready for more. I can feel it. She can feel it. But she doesn’t YET know what it is.

She came back to me today with an awareness that she hasn’t really “done goals” well in her life. She just focuses on doing good work and things unfold for her.

We unpacked this and I shared how this was both in alignment with how the Universe works to deliver the manifestations you desire and how it’s also incomplete.

Let me explain…

The Law of Compensation says that in order for you to receive greater compensation you must become bigger than your present place… bigger than who you’re being right now.

This requires growth.

Growth requires that you become more.

When you have a standard of excellence for yourself in your work and you keep taking on more and doing it with excellence, you will naturally become more.

You will grow yourself to be a bigger container for the good that you desire.

(This is true whether we’re talking about income, ease, love, spaciousness, exuberant joy, sexual energy, or whatever you desire.)

This is how you become open to receiving more.

And yet there’s often an unconscious missing piece…

DESIRE.

True desire, not lack disguised as desire, is a cause set in motion.

When you claim a true desire it calls you forward into the growth that the Law of Compensation asks of you.

It’s connected to YOUR truth – not a should.

It’s connected to YOUR abundance – not scarcity.

It’s connected to YOUR purpose – not an obligation.

Now let’s compare this to goals.

I’m a big fan of them but only when you can hold them with an open heart and only when they start from a place of desire… not should, not scarcity, not obligation.

Most people when they set a goal that doesn’t meet the “desire criteria” immediately feel a certain amount of constriction.

This is actually a GOOD thing. It’s telling you that you’re off course, either slightly or to a large extent.

This is a forced goal, rather than a true desire.

In order to shift, it just takes tapping back into what you truly, really want.

What is that for you?

This is what we’ll be discussing in our Spirit of Wealth Retreat – what is rising up in you ready for a rebirth. #PhoenixRising
